Abstract
Zionism is a political movement that has sought to garner international support in pursuit of its ultimate goal: the establishment of a Jewish nation-state. In this context, the materialistic and capitalist nature of the modern West—along with its hegemonic ambitions—aligns politically, culturally, economically, and strategically with the objectives of Zionism. This convergence gives rise to the phenomenon of "International Zionism," which, in tandem with the expansionist aims of major Western powers, exploits nations of the Global South—particularly in the Islamic world. In his statements, the former Leader of the Islamic Revolution has repeatedly highlighted this issue, characterizing the Zionist regime as a "base for the West—the enemy of Islam"—in the Islamic world. This article seeks to answer the question: "How has the military and cultural domination of international Zionism in the Islamic world been sustained according to the discourse of Ayatollah Khamenei?" Textual analysis reveals that the establishment and support of the illegitimate Israeli regime, the destabilization of and incitement of discord within Muslim nations, the sowing of division among Muslims and Islamic countries, the promotion of inhumane and ungodly values, the spread of terrorism, and a military presence in the region are among the strategies that have led to the continued dominance of Zionism and the West in the Islamic world.
