Abstract
In the thought of the leaders of the Islamic Revolution, republicanism is an original and fundamental concept in Islamic thought, which has received the attention of the Islamic religion beyond the modern concept of republicanism. The main question of this research is that the relationship between republicanism and Islamism can be understood based on what reading? This research is based on the fact that the relationship between republicanism and Islamism in reading practical wisdom from the Qur'an and hadiths can be understood. Since this research is among qualitative researches, we will use the qualitative analysis method based on hermeneutics, especially the philosophical hermeneutics of Heidegger and Gadamer, to analyze the ratio of Islamism and republicanism in the reading of practical wisdom.
