Abstract | ||
This study addresses the semantic interconnections of the terms "Marq," "Zahiq," and "Lahiq" between the Holy Quran and supplications through an examination of textual cohesion and harmony based on the Sha'ban supplications and the Large University Visit. The study begins with the hypothesis that these terms, despite their differing contexts, form a network of interrelated meanings that contribute to a deeper understanding of the intended meanings in religious texts. The study employs a descriptive-analytical approach, analyzing each term from both morphological and semantic perspectives using linguistic dictionaries and interpretation books, followed by an examination of their contexts in the Quran and the supplications under study. Discourse analysis tools such as reference, cohesion, and repetition are utilized to uncover how these terms contribute to achieving textual cohesion and harmony. The results indicate a close semantic relationship between the uses of these terms in different texts, emphasizing the importance of interdisciplinary studies that combine linguistics with Quranic and Hadith sciences for better comprehension of religious texts. The study recommends further research into semantic interconnections in religious texts using modern discourse analysis tools. | ||
